Master puzzle boxes rely on 3 physical principles rather than random guessing:
1. Brass Alignment Chevrons (Kanagu Markers)
Each panel features inlaid brass indicator notches. When you slide a panel, its notch shifts. When two adjacent notches line up (turning green in alignment), an internal wooden track has been physically cleared for the next connected face.
2. X-Ray Mechanism Mode
Toggle the [X-Ray] button to turn the outer lacquer translucent. This reveals the internal hardwood locking pins (orange dowels) and mortise keyways in real-time so you can visually trace which pin is blocking which channel.
3. Timber Acoustic Resonance (Tap & Listen)
Hovering over a panel produces an acoustic tap:
• High Resonant Tone = Empty chamber / free sliding track.
• Dull Flat Thud = Blocked solid mortise joint.
